How much does an iPad repair cost?

It depends on the model and the repair: from $69 for a standard iPad, $79 for an iPad Air, $99 for an iPad Pro and $79 for an iPad Mini, parts and labour included. The exact price shows up on each range page as soon as you choose your model; the most recent models get a free estimate.

Which iPad models do you repair?

All of them: standard iPad (iPad 5 (2017) to iPad A16 (2025)), iPad Air (iPad Air 2 to iPad Air M4, 11 and 13-inch (2026)), iPad Pro (iPad Pro 9.7-inch (2016) to iPad Pro 13-inch M5 (2025)) and iPad Mini (iPad Mini 4 to iPad Mini 7 (2024)). We replace the glass, the screen, the battery and the charging port.

Do you repair iPads sent by mail?

Yes, with Purolator across Quebec: you receive a label by email, your iPad is insured both ways with tracking, and you pay only after the repair.

How long does an iPad repair take?

The repair time is shown on each repair page; most screen replacements are done within 24 hours of receiving the iPad.

How do I know which iPad I have?

Open Settings › General › About: the model name is shown. The model number (A…) is also engraved on the back; you can type it in the search at the top of this page.

Is my data kept during the repair?

Yes, replacing the screen, the battery or the charging port does not touch the storage. We still recommend an iCloud backup before the repair.

Micro-Techno repairs every iPad in its workshop at 273 Sainte-Catherine Street East in Montreal, near Berri-UQAM metro, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. Outside Montreal, the iPad is sent by Purolator mail, insured both ways. Free diagnosis, price shown online for each model, payment only after the repair.
