The PS5 uses liquid metal to transfer heat from the processor. Over time, dust clogs the heatsink and the liquid metal can oxidize or shift. Our service includes full disassembly, cleaning of the cooling system and replacement of the liquid metal for optimal heat transfer.

My console shuts down on its own: is it overheating?
Very often. If the console shuts down during play, with or without a heat warning, overheating is the most likely cause. The diagnosis is free: if the problem comes from another component, we let you know before any work.
Why replace the liquid metal?
The PS5 uses liquid metal between the processor and the heatsink. Over time it can oxidize or shift, and heat is no longer transferred properly. Replacing it, together with cleaning, restores the console’s original cooling.
How often should a PS5 be cleaned?
It depends on the environment: dust, pets or smoke clog the console faster. As soon as the fan becomes loud or the console runs hot, a cleaning is recommended.
Which models do you repair?

How long does the cleaning take?
24 hours from when we receive your console. For a mail-in repair, add the Purolator shipping time, which depends on your city.
Are my games and saves kept?
Yes. The cleaning does not touch the storage: your games and saves remain intact.
Can I send my console for the cleaning from outside Montreal?
