Signs of a damaged Xbox HDMI port
Black screen, console onThe Xbox button lights up and the console starts, but the TV shows “No signal”.
Picture cuts outThe image flickers, turns green or purple, or drops when the cable is touched.

On the Xbox One S, One X and the Xbox Series, the HDMI port is soldered to the motherboard, next to the video chip that drives it. We replace the port by micro-soldering, then check that video chip and test the output on a 4K TV before returning your console.

My Xbox turns on but the TV shows nothing: is it the HDMI port?
Often, yes. First try another HDMI cable and another TV input. If the screen stays black while the console starts normally, the port or its video chip is most likely damaged. The diagnosis is free.
Do you repair the HDMI port on every Xbox?

What if the video chip is also damaged?

How long does the HDMI port replacement take?
24 hours from when we receive your console. For a mail-in repair, add the Purolator shipping time, which depends on your city.
